Doing classes with Trisha fundamentally changed our birth plan - we became participants in planning and preparing for our birth, rather than just observers.

The classes helped us to figure out what was important to us at our birth and how to maximize our chances of getting the birth we want.

Trisha provides great handouts and a wealth of knowledge on the entire process of labor and delivery, and if we ever had a question she didn't know offhand, she researched it and sent a follow up email to make sure we understood the material.

We are excited about our upcoming birth and feel like we are better prepared for the labor, delivery, and postpartum period, and are so thankful to have Trisha as a resource.

Trisha’s private birth education class was the perfect solution for us! Although we consider ourselves to be fairly well-educated in general, we were completely naive when it comes to childbirth and parenting. Trisha allowed us to tailor the class around our own information needs and taught us newborns-for-dummies as well as the more advanced, research-based pros and cons of childbirth approaches. She was always professional and pleasant, and genuinely appeared to enjoy what she does. Plus, the private setting of the classes allowed us to ask a lot of questions specific to our own situation. By the end of the class, my husband and I were in wonderful agreement regarding our birth plan, breastfeeding, and care of our infant, but without Trisha’s class, I sincerely doubt we would have made such progress! Trish was great!!! My husband and I highly recommend her! With our first baby due 9/22/09, we selected Trish as our childbirth educator. With my husband and I living a very busy corporate lifestyle, it was very beneficial to have Trish come to our home. Trish always arrived on time. She’s very knowledgeable in all areas of pregnancy, and she addressed all of our concerns. She covered each trimester, the “what if’s” and helped us develop a birth plan. She instructed my husband how to assist me  throughout the pregnancy and while I’m in labor. Each session only lasted about 2 hours which is a lot better than sitting in a classroom at the hospital all day. By breaking the class into sessions, it gave us time to digest the information and ask questions during our next session. She’ll also make herself available should you ever have any pressing questions that just cannot wait.
We'd hire her again in a heartbeat!

I would recommend your class to anyone. I think it is more informative than a traditional hospital class.  I think pregnant or not, people should take this class, just so they can be informed!!

Great class! Very glad we went this route rather than a hospital class. We were very open to natural childbirth.
I did not know that the class would be and grateful that it was. Everything that was told is what we believe in.
I can't imagine a hospital class that would only focus on hospital births. This was the perfect class!

Her classes were wonderful! As a man who was skeptical about going into these classes, I was very impressed. So much good information and speaks/teaches from experience.

These classes addressed everything I could have hoped to learn. They were informative and actual which is a rare combination. Very well taught!!

Felt a level of comfort that I think would be lost in a class at a hospital. Not afraid to ask 'stupid' or 'man' questions. You were wonderful and respected the decisions we have made as a couple and helped us find our way.

The best part about Trisha's class is you get to have it in the comfort and privacy of your own home. I truely learned a lot about what to expect. It was very informative and the information, which is brand new to me since this is our first child, was easy to understand. Trisha is easy to listen to and she confirmed my views of my birth plan.
